Panic comes in France because of the swine flu. In France, there are a bit less than 800 cases and no death caused by swine flu. In the UK, it’s more than 10 000 cases and few deaths. And now it’s holiday time and a lot of British go in France… A new war has begun between French and English ….

Swine back to the UK
Ouch!!! Not very nice. French doctors said that to English children on holidays in Normandy near Bayeux. Few of them had got the symptoms of the swine flu. They kept two of them who were to sick to go back and put everybody in a bus and send them back in their Island. Children said they were a bit traumatised because it was a very quick decision… French don’t want more swine flu than they have… But British are particularly targeted more than other nationalities because of the important rate of swine flu.

In the tube since, two weeks, you can see more an more people putting mask. But it’s more tourists afraid about swine flu than British people. I have not the impression to live in a dangerous area. People behave as usual. You can see a bit more often advert from the goverment asking to wash your hands more often … A part from that… nothing change really. Maybe everybody will go quicker to their GP if they have some symptoms.

No thank you very much… But I’m really looking forward those holidays… And I prefer stay in a bed in a sunny place than in a rainy city…
However don’t worry… the virus just touch English people… it is selective…
