A demonstration of French arrogance

In the UK, maybe and certainly every where, French are considered like arrongant people. It’s true in general, we kind of think everything fucking little things are better in France than anywhere else. Like wine, food, social insurance, health system…
And of course, people are pissed of. Where does that come from?
I don’t really know but reading the French newspapers, the arrogance is in France intra muros… French between French.

Les Césars

That’s because of Les Césars I’m writting today about the French arrogance vs the UK easy going. One of the most popular film ever, “Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis”, is just nominated once in the ceremony. This movie is the most profitable movie in the French cinema history, millions and millions people enjoyed it a lot and continue to go to the cinema to watch it and ONE nomination ?
I don’t personnally like so much this type of movie, but it’s a plebiscite. So why not??
Just because we are posh, too posh to let a comedy wins something… That’s typically a French attitude…

Vs English humour
In the UK, it’s not even the contrary. They just appreciate humour better than French. They are not ashamed to laugh aloud. They are not ashamed to plebiscite a comedy, a comic actor. They are proud of them, and they have a lot: Monty Python, Ricky Gervais…

I really would like my country become a little prouder of popular culture, because in any case it won’t denaturate the rest … If “Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis” will be nominated it doesn’t mean will forget Godard… There is place for every type of cinema…

But who Kares?
